Absolute Deviation builds and provides technical support for Don Buchla's Marimba Lumina, a rare and revolutionary synthesizer controlled via a mallet percussion (xylophone, marimba) interface rather than a piano-style keyboard. The site navigation is inspired by the look of the instrument's keyboard and control pads. The new logo design incorporates the company's mark (the mathematical symbol for "absolute" flanking an uppercase "D"), and alludes to the multi-colored mallets used to play the instrument.
